Remembering and Number 300

Yesterday (Sept. 11) was the sixth anniversary of the terrorist attack. We still remember. We have not forgot. Although, there are some that wonder how long it will be that "Patriot Day" will just be another day like Pearl Harbor Day... Probably will only take another generation or so.

Last Friday (7th) the middle school youth group at our church went Cosmic bowling. I tagged along with my son and we all had a lot of fun. I bowled a 136 in my first game, but quickly went downhill from there. My son struggled but his group put up the bumpers and he got a Turkey (three strikes in a row). He was pretty pumped to say the least. :-) We bowled quite a few games and we were both pretty sore the next day. My hand hurt for quite a few days following.

On Saturday (8th), it was a little mini-workday around the house. We put up a few pictures in my daughter's room, we rearranged our guest room, and a few other things.

On Monday (10th), we dropped off a urine sample from my daughter to make sure the infection was taken care of since getting off of her antibiotics. The Dr.'s office called that afternoon to let us know she was totally clear of any infection or bacteria. That was great news. They had just done a quick dip test to get those results, so they are sending it off for a more exact and detailed reading. We were pretty happy to hear about that. We're still praying that she'll stay clear of it until her VCUG procedure on October 1st.

This Saturday (15th), the church deacon board is taking the pastors to a play at a professional theatre for Pastors Appreciation month (which is actually in October, but the play was ending this weekend). I'll be reporting on how this all goes afterwards. :-)

Oh and by the way, this post is "Post Number 300!" Cool!

Blessings!
